John Tatar has provided voters with clear stances on key issues by responding to the 2014 Political Courage Test.
| Yes | In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending? | ||
| No | In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket? | ||
| The issue of income tax is that income tax is a tax on corporations and not on the individual citizens of this Republic. If the income tax was "de jure" in other words handled according to the law then the income tax would be implemented fairly, Other wise, reducing spending is the only way to balance the budget, and to reduce transfer payments and entitlements to those individuals on the government dole. | |||
| Yes | Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions? | ||
| It is obvious that campaign contributions control the "usurpers" that occupy the offices in DC presently. If these contributions become public knowledge then it will be evident who these "usurpers" will support. Certainly not the people whom they are suppose to represent. | |||
| Yes | Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes? | ||
| Murder, rape and treason. | |||
| No | Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth? | ||
| Yes | Do you support lowering taxes as a way of promoting growth in the economy? | ||
| No | Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation? | ||
| Tax incentives are local issues. Since all corporations work in one state or another, it is up to the local government to decide whether a tax incentive is needed or not. This is not a federal issue, and the federal government should use the hands off method of dealing with this issue. | |||
| No | Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants? | ||
| Return education back to the state and local levels! Remove all federal grants, with strings attached. Education is a local issue not directed and controlled by the federal government. Federal strings, has led this country down a very dark path. | |||
| Yes | Do you support building the Keystone XL pipeline? | ||
| Yes | Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production? | ||
| Make those that damage the eco system responsible. Jail and heavy fines for offenders. Reduction of restriction will spur new energy sources and new energy technology. | |||
| No | Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change? | ||
| No | Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions? | ||
| The entire issue of global warming is a red hearing for more government control on the American people. The new technology, smart meter, is damaging to human life, and has no benefit to the Republic. This is all about control and the New World Order. Once the "grid" has been established, there will be no ability to challenge the government and the new world order. | |||
| No | Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns? | ||
| The 2nd Amendment, prohibits any such restrictions. The question I must ask each and every citizen, do you support restrictions on the 1st Amendment, of free speech? The 2nd Amendment was to protect the 1st Amendment along with all the other amendments. With restrictions on the right to bear arms comes restrictions on what the Citizens can say against the government. See the Patriot Act spying by our government on American Citizens, and National Defense Authorization Act, that permits indefinite detention of someone suspected of terrorism. This government is way out of control. | |||
| Yes | Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act? | ||
| Totally "usurpation" of the constitution and the rights of the American Citizens to attempt to force the Citizens into commerce. | |||
| Yes | Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship? | ||
| All illegal immigrants regardless of age. | |||
| No | Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict? | ||
| No | Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the United States from possessing a nuclear weapon? | ||
| What are the real issues regarding Terrorists? What is a terrorist? Who determines this? Based on what law, what definition, what model is a terrorist defined? How can the military be used to fight such an undefined enemy as a suspected terrorist? | |||
| Yes | Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts? | ||

| Seek to apply the tax code "de jure", and eliminate all other taxes that are a "usurpations"; I would only spend money on programs that are authorized by the US Constitution and stop all spending that is now being so-called required under the "civil" jurisdiction. This to the un-knowledgeable will seem drastic, but such change will enhance the Republics greatly. |
